Raymond was born and raised in Slidell, LA. His family generations go back over 150 years in this area. At the age of 17, Raymond joined the Navy and was stationed on the West Coast. Honorably discharged in 1984, he moved to the Seattle metropolitan area landing his first job in-car audio. Raymond was an apprentice for a small shop that taught him how to install cassette decks. From his love of music, fascination with electronics & technology, and recent sonar-training, this experience provided Raymond with a career path versus just a job. Involved in the audio industry from the beginning of the mobile electronic-revolution, to present electronic-technology and applications, Raymond yields a depth of knowledge that’s difficult to find today. Over the decades, Raymond has mastered innumerable facets within the mobile electronics industry. Raymond is fearless when it comes to new challenges and continues to be excited with constant industry advancements. Raymond is an audiophile snob and will never accept mediocre work. His motto is, “a job is never complete until the customer is absolutely satisfied”. Raymond has managed, installed as well as sold mobile electronics for many nationally recognized, specialty-audio retailers such as Magnolia Hi-Fi and Car Toys. His entrepreneurial side started several mobile electronics and wireless-technology businesses too. Each company specializing in retail, wholesale, and insurance replacement in different areas around the country. Raymond has built strong contacts and relationships nationwide with wholesale distributors as well as peers over the decades.
